1. Get a USA address

Sign up for a USA address and use it for shipping and receiving. No credit card is required. If you are shipping from Alberta, please use our Sweet Grass Montana USA address. If you are shipping from British Columbia, please use our Blaine Washington USA address.

2. Pay for USA Postage

Select our USA address as the originating shipping from location and pay for USA postage for USPS, UPS or FedEx. Buy postage online from Shippo, Pirate Ship, Shipstation, Poshmark USA, Etsy.com, WooCommerce, eBay.com, Amazon.com or directly from one of our branches.

3. Submit Manifest for U.S. Customs

Not everything can be mailed. Submit your USA customs declaration (manifest) online via One Portal or from one of the computers in our branches. Shipments of food must accompany with a copy of an FDA prior notice on the outside of the box.

4. Drop off Parcels to any DYK Post Branches

If you have purchased pre-paid shipping labels, simply drop off these packages to one of DYK Post’s branches and pay our border crossing fee. If you do not have a computer/label printer, just drop by one of our branches and pay to ship just like doing it in a local Post Office.

If you have purchased or are provided with prepaid shipping labels within USA, DYK Post can ship with a small border crossing fee that is as low as $1.00 per package for customs clearance and for couriering it across the border for USPS and USA UPS/FedEx to pickup. It is often cheaper if you can buy postage directly from online selling channels in U.S. dollars such as that from eBay.com. For example, Amazon.com also offers heavily discounted partnered carrier rate from UPS for shipping to all USA Amazon FBA warehouses.

It is worth mentioning that United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority shipping boxes are free for our clients to use so long as these boxes are used for the purpose of shipping via USPS Priority services with DYK Post. Additional charges will apply for parcels that are oversized (over 48 inches in any one dimension); all UPS/FedEx packages will incur an additional $1.50 surcharge per parcel (Alberta only).
